Here we are at the bottom of the falls. It was an overcast day, so no Rainbow. I'll have to revisit this site to try to capture a rainbow (sun) or a moonbow (full moon). Not kidding about the Moonbow, there are businesses and shopping centers named after this phenomena. Cumberland Falls, sometimes called the Little Niagara, the Niagara of the South, or the Great Falls, is a large waterfall on the Cumberland River in southeastern Kentucky. Spanning the river at the border of McCreary and Whitley counties, the waterfall is the central feature of Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.
